  • Admission Procedure at LPSS.

As an international preparatory school, we will admit children from the international community here in Lagos as well as children from all parts of Nigeria. Currently the school’s community is comprised of pupils of almost thirty nationalities.

  • The school’s motto is ‘Non Sibi Sed Omnibus’ ‘not for one but for all’ and therefore we accept application for admissions from all children. An application for the registration of a pupil must be made by the parents or caregiver/guardian of the pupil. In order to register your child for a place:

    1. The online enquiry form should be filled in. On receipt of the enquiry form, the school will send the required information and the application fee can be paid. Evidence of payment should be sent to the school along with:
      •  2 recent passport photograph,
      • a copy of the birth certificate
      • last school report.
    2. Following confirmation of receipt, letters inviting the children for an entrance test will be sent out, followed by interviews with the children and parents.
    3. LPSS will also contact the child’s current school directly for an official reference.
    4. After the full round of interviews, you will be advised in writing should a place be offered to your child
    5. Once a place has been offered, registration forms are to be submitted alongside copies of:
      1. Immunisation card
      2. International passport (info page)
      3. Transfer certificate from current school
    6. A signed copy of the Parents’ acceptance form should be submitted and an invoice for school fees will be sent. Full fees for the first term will then be payable and this would constitute a formal acceptance of your child’s place.
    7. Thereafter, a full term’s notice in writing should be given should you wish to withdraw your child from the school.  Acceptance fee will only be refunded if this notice is given. One half term’s fees are due in lieu of such notice.

Please note that priority for limited number of places available will be given to siblings and then those parents who, as far as they are able, are in a position to give an assurance that their child will remain at Lagos Preparatory & Secondary School for at least 4 years and will not leave at an early age.

Please do not delay in submitting your application form, as demand for places is likely to be high.
